Daily Tile Care
Tile floors are durable and offer a low level of required maintenance for homeowners.
Tile must be swept to continue to look its best. By investing in a broom and putting it to use on a regular basis, you can help to remove dirt and other debris that will cause your tile floors to age. How often you sweep will depend on the foot traffic the tile receives.
You should mop your tile floors as needed as well. Aim for a damp mop as opposed to a wet one. While tile floors are tough on water, it's always good to limit standing water on any flooring.
You can clean your grouting as needed with a homemade substance of peroxide, baking soda, and dish soap. Scrub the grout with this mixture using an old toothbrush.
